It seems Kenny Britt never really had pure hands but somehow the ball would stick, these days sh*t aint sticking. I'm still hoping for a breakout but if they traded him for a pack of skittles I wouldn't give a sh*t and I like Kenny.

Maybe he needs some of that glue that Gene Hackmans character puts on Cliford Franklin's gloves in that movie The Replacements! rofl, love that movie.

The gloves are close enough to stick 'em these days. If you can't catch with gloves, you don't need to be a WR.

Facing two of the NFL’s biggest and most physical cornerbacks, the Titans will need receivers with plenty of fight on Sunday against the Seahawks.

Titans receiver Kenny Britt will be one of the receivers in the mix, but he knows he has to clear some hurdles of his own. Despite his struggles, the Titans plan to continue using Britt, though it’s expected to be in a reduced role.

“This is definitely a bump in my career right now, the first five weeks, but I believe I can get out of it and I am focused on getting out of it,’’ Britt said. “All of my teammates are being supportive. … I am more anxious and trying to make a play instead of letting it happen, and I just have to go out there and relax and have fun and do my job.

“I am a competitive guy, and I know I can get out there and do better than what I did on Sunday.”

Britt failed to haul in three catchable balls on Sunday against the Chiefs. He’s struggled with drops all season.

Titans coach Mike Munchak said Britt can be a big asset, however, because of his size and ability.

Seattle’s starting cornerbacks – Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner — are 6-foot-3, 195 pounds and 6-4, 221, respectively. Britt, at 6-3, 222, is Tennessee’s biggest receiver. Rookie Justin Hunter is 6-4, 203.

Britt said he needs to go back to attacking the football, and relaxing. On the season, Britt has just six catches for 52 yards.

“(Kenny’s size) helps, it’s why he’s in the rotation, and why he’s playing,” Munchak said. “He’ll get the opportunity to do some of that along with (Justin) Hunter, Kendall (Wright) and Nate (Washington). There will be five of them up, maybe six of them up. So we’re going to need someone to get hot, to get open, and make plays.”

I couldn't deal with another Britt thread but loved the "bump in my career" comment too much to delete the post.

    Bump =

This fool does NOT need to be on the field this Sunday. I mean that. We cannot afford ridiculous drops and dumb penalties against a team like this, in their house.

We keep waiting on him to "come around" and he's hurting the team in the process. And he's getting worse each week, not better. At what point is enough enough?

The drop on 3rd down when we had the lead was huge, it was absolutely huge.

It's sad that Britt has fallen so low. He had so much potential.

It does not take 6 games to get going. If you can't be ready to play by week 6 then you need be in another profession. I will never feel sorry for this punk, he has been arrested multiple time and still fails to take advantage of a team that gave him too many chances imo.
