Kinda harsh words there Ed for a QB who's been in the league since 2005 with 14K passing yards career and an ever improving QB rating every year. He should do well if our new and improved O line does their job and gives him time to connect with Nate, Justin, and maybe Britt will wake up to this call. I have a renewed confidence in our coaching staff, they've done a great job so far this year.

Our D @ home should step up and give Alex fits Sunday!!!

Ed Werder did not say that part.

That's FF advice you're looking at, apparently... probably rotoworld. And guess what... They're right. That throw to Nate was as far as he can throw it. He has no arm strength.

Noodle arm is 39 year old Hass. Fitz can still sling it.

Doesn't need arm strength if you can manage the game. If you assume that the OL will step up and allow CJ to get some yards and that Fitzpatrick can pop the short and intermediate to Walker , Washington or whoever then why does anyone want to go deep ? Keep the 'skin , score points , take time off the clock and then get Smith to play catch-up.
Please note that if the above does not happen and we need to go ariel late in the day then Fitz is toast...frankly.

Analyst don't know shyt. They just go by a player's stats and watch highlights of a game, but don't really focus on a player playing a"full" game.

Hope Fitz proves the critics wrong.

I would half agree here. I think there are some analysts that do know what they are talking about but then there are people like skip bayless who make ridiculous statements

What RSB said. Everything after that first sentence is just fantasy advice.

Who cares even if Ed Werder had said it? That noodle-arm managed to get him a $60 million dollar contract extension just a couple years ago. I really think too much is being made of the arm strength thing. Sure it'd be nice if he could sling it like Michael Vick. But there's a lot more to being a quarterback than just arm strength. If his arm wasn't good enough he wouldn't be in the league right now.
