I thought the fines went too the league and that was the money that went too the minimum salary guys who got an outsized chunk of snaps or something. They used too put out a list of guys who got checks from the NFL.

I personally think that Coples deserved more and a suspension. You could argue that Wilkerson was just trying to finish a play or whatever. He was actually hurt because Coples elbow kept him from falling straight down. An elbow to the helmet was totally uncalled for. Punk ***** got off lucky.

As a old school mentality myself, don't see anything wrong. I'm not a big fan of the new era NFL with all these little girl rules. Every little hit is a penalty and it is killing the game. I love big hits, I love what football brings and its not football anymore. The hit was a tad bit late but like Locker said, it is part of the game. Just throw the flag for the late hit and move on. Sometimes going full speed, if you have the quickest second for a decision.

I completely understand the safety of the players but with fans getting caught up with all these new rules and forgetting where football came from, they forget from early 40s-90s players came and delivered big hits. Everyone loved the big hits and nobody called players dirty they way people call dirty players now. If these players are dirty then the old school players must be the devils, lol... I don't think any player is dirty WITHIN the whistle. However, guys like Suh that does things after the whistle or use his cleat is dirty. Hits? Not dirty...

 

I must have missed that flag for the late hits, otherwise moving on would be easier - just sayin'

 

I didn't say they threw the flag. I was saying in general, late hit throw the flag and move on. It is very unfortunate how it turned out but I don't see these guys as "dirty"

SD game was not called evenly and failry, and neither was the foot sucking cuckolds game or the cows game. Makes it harder too be all aloof when the crap is stinkin' the place up
