The last two seasons Fitzpatrick has torched the Chiefs for 6 TDs with no INTs. The bad news? That team wasn't coached by the resurgent Andy Reid. Let's hope Fitz can do it again.

^ You're right, but the Qb is the most important position in all of sports. I'm very afraid without Locker. The run game isn't working, and Locker has made a lot of his big plays on the move when the pocket collapses. Fitzy will certainly be taking a lot more sacks.

Just give Fitz a chance to show what he's got is all I'm sayin' If he can complete passes and not turn it over then I think we gonna be alright. Stop with the hopeless negatativisms.

Sure, if he can do something he's never done before (not turn it over) we'll be fine.

Well, we can always lean on the run game.... oh wait...

It's fine to be concerned. But I'm still amazed at how Locker went from "Dude just doesn't have it" to "OMG he's so amazing that our season is now over" in the minds of so many fans. And all this over the course of a game and a half. It's insanity.

Is there a reason Fitz didn't get a starting job somewhere else this offseason? Probably. But the dude's our backup. And as far as backup QBs go we could do much, MUCH worse. So it is what it is.

Like I said in another thread, it's lucky for us we're not one of these teams that's completely built around the starting QB. Sure losing your starter hurts. But I don't think we take as far of a step back as a lot of other teams would in this situation. And FFS, let's just see what Fitz can do. Dude might throw for 3 or 4 TDs this weekend for all we know.

Colts looked a little different with Peyton on the sidelines and whatever scrub they had on the field to replace him.. just saying.

But Fitz should be legit, once he gets some practice and not coming cold off the bench.

Well that is what Locker gets for playing like a boss this season. WE'RE DONE. Everyone migrate to the jag boards.

I think that's an unfair standard to hold a QB to and honestly this is the thing that concerns me about our team, even with Jake. We're built to keep it close and be "in" every game. Which puts a huge premium on not turning the ball over. That scares me.

Let's not kid ourselves, it was a little flukey that we went 4 straight games without a turnover (only 2nd time in NFL history that's happened). We're due. And it's silly to think we were going to keep on chugging along playing mistake free football each and every week. Jake would've had his fair share of multiple turnover games. I'm sure of that. It's just the nature of the game.
