Munchak: Jets hits on Locker unnecessary

    No, it's just the Titans lets move along.

    The NFL often tries to cover up poor officiating by having the refs backs, watch they'll say the hit was clean and no fines are necessary.

    Ok just saw the video replay on ESPN and you can see the refs head, he was looking up field at where the ball was going and at no point looked at Locker while the hits where happening......

    Found it.
    This one shows the refs face. Hes 5 yards away and looks like he has no idea the hits even happened.... Hes too busy watching the ball that landed like 10 yards out of bound...Completely ridiculous...

    and i really hope it wasn't the ref in the replay because that guy wasn't even looking

    it was a dirty hit in todays NFL. Fact is, its the burden of having a running QB. League needs to take steps to regulate this though.
