In Pickem, I actually had the Phins beating the Falcons. Not the Colts over the Niners though. So my answer is obvious.

Ever since we played the Falcons in the preseason, I felt their O line would cause them problems so the Miami win didn't surprise me in the least.

My question about the Colts is their defense mostly. Didn't help my perception of them when they barely beat the Raiders. But who knows, the Raiders might be better than I thought as well.

This is he NFL dude. Barely beat is nothing but a win. And they stomped out the 9ers yesterday and their defense looked good. In today's NFL, it's about having a defensive unit who can get opportunistic stops and turnovers. You really can't shut any good offenses out these days.

I think Luck will be a top 5 QB in this league. Probably not this year but relatively soon. He's already showing flashes of that level of play.

I was much more shocked about the Colts/SF game as many thought they just had an off-game against Seattle who has a good d, strong run game and Wilson, but back to back poor performances and we are seeing some of the problems over several teams. It's also the reason I wasn't so shocked about Miami/Falcons. Several of these teams...Giants, Steelers, SF (Offense only for them), Falcons are having a lot of problems with their OL and DL's! That will get you into a lot of trouble in a lot of ways FAST!!!

It's funny, someone comes up with a new offense or a new wrinkle and people are schocked when teams figure out how to defend it. Some of that pistol is catching up with the Niners and when you combine that with poor OL play AND some bad throws/decisions by Kap, you get THUMPED!!!

One good defensive showing only means but so much too. And you gotta factor in key injuries for the Niners too in that game.

Miami beating Atlanta didn't surprise me in the least. Colts beating the Niners was surprising, but I wouldn't necessarily say shocking.

Andrew Luck is a ton better, don't be a fool because you're a Titans fan. You can hate the man, but he's legit. Still not as legit as the media hypes him up to be.. but the dude can ball. Colts have an impressive offense, but that defense still sucks.. regardless of how they treated the 49ers.

Well definitely not the Falcons game, I think they're crazy overrated. 49ers I figured would be a little off with all the recent distractions but didn't expect that. I like Andrew Luck but top 8 QB? No.
