IMO the top 5 QB's in this class are Boyd, Bridgewater, Hundley, Hogan, and Manziel (who I'm not high on) and 3 of them are sophomores so who know if they'll come out. After them though IDK if there is a guy I'd draft in the 1st round.

    • Dereck Carr looks good mechanically and has a strong arm but he doesn't play great competition. Plus his brother might work against him on draft day.
    • David Fales doesn't have a great arm and plays in a weak conference.
    • AJ McCarron isn't a taking the next step like I thought he'd be able to.
    • Aaron Murray doesn't have the look of a franchise guy to me. He just doen't seem to have that 'it factor".
    • Devin Gardener is an interesting guy who might be this year's Ryan Tannehill but we need to see more of him; also his mechanics are a little questionable and that make me pause. There is talent there but I think a team would have to sit him for a year or two to get the best out of him.

For real though, anyone who doesn't think Teddy Bridgewater is the truth needs to actually watch the guy play. I just saw him pump left and go back right and complete a 30-yard pass on the money. Had the receiver kept his feet he would have scored easily.

Forget the competition he's playing against, the guy knows the fundamentals of the position.

Recheck Fales. He arm throws. He's got plenty because he isn't even torquing his hips yet.

I'm not saying he has a noddle arm but it's not the strongest out there. I kinda compare him from an arm strength standpoint to Matt Schaub.

Yea but like I said. Watch his throwing tech. He's not using his hips properly and he's still getting it done.

However, I see a very similar QB to Locker. Good roll out. Bit more awareness, kinda scratchy in the pocket.

he didn't impress me at all today. uk has a terrible secondary, should have been way more productive.

So what he did against Florida suddenly doesn't matter?

I thought McCarron played really well today, definitely shed that game manager label. We able to watch some of Hundley (for basically the first time) and was really impressed with him. He may be my favorite after Bridgewater and Boyd from what I saw today.
