one game does not a career make.

I'll believe it when I see consistent play from he and Locker. I believe McCourty is average at best and Locker is firmly in the Subpar category. And not in the golf way.

I will happily eat those words if either one of these players has a good year. With a smile.

I'm not saying it does, but it was nice to see him stuck like glue for a change. None of their WRs are Mike Wallace but Sanders and Brown are quick as lightning.

Y'all need to calm down. We faced a poor offensive team with a great defense. Our offense looked like crap (which was expected), but got the job done. Our defense looked very good, although the Steelers OL (w/o Pouncey) isn't anything special, they have no RB, & lost their #1 WR.

We still have a lot of room for improvement. Our OL started shakey. Locker was below average. CJ2K got bottled up. Still had a few silly mistakes. This team could very well be a playoff team, i'm still sticking with my 9-7 prediction... hopefully they prove me wrong and do better!

Great first win, but lets build on it! Don't get cocky.

There's my "poor fan, always that guy, raining on parade" rant. I enjoyed the win, now lets focus on Houston and shock them also.

Lol. Did you adjust your rankings of McCourty ahead of Vern yet? I believe Jason was outplayed by Verner in the game. Vern may not have the physical stats, but he is a play maker plain and simple. Jason is average in my book.

Verner is a more consistent player.. should be obvious to anyone watching.

I don't think the offense was as bad as you think. Pitt's defense is very good. We may not have lit them up, but who does? Our D impressed the hell out of me. I did not expect to see them do so well. (imagine how good they'd be with a Verner clone instead of McCourty====jcb) Hell, we shut them out until the last couple minutes of the game and that score was because of a stupid personal foul. Pitt was injured, sure, but they still should have whooped us if you read the stats and crap. We had a solid first game.

If Jason is average, IDK what Verner is then cause one is a captain, one was paid, and one doesn't have Tommie Campbell nipping at his heels.

Again, Lover Verner, but you're forcing me to paint him in a negative light.
