The Best Way To Win Is When The Whole Team Contributes And Makes Plays

Lol, that was a long ass time ago man. The NFL is a business and that knife cuts both ways. Teams and even fans have no problem telling a player to pack their s**t and leave when they're no longer useful. There's nothing wrong with a guy trying to get the compensation he deserves while he still can get it.

 

No problem with getting what he gets, but you dont have to hold out and screw the fans/team to get it.

 

Except that he did have to hold out. Guys only do it when the front office won't play ball. Why not choose to be mad at the organization for refusing to pay their best player and putting him in a situation where he feels the need to hold out?

I'll never forget when Jevon Walker held out after having an amazing year and still being on his rookie contract. The fans and Favre started talking zhit to him to the point that he decided to end his hold out. First game back he blows his knee out, is out for the season and the Packers released him at the end of the season. That's why players hold out and in their situation I guarantee you would too.
