Yeah same here, I thought Locker had a fine game but the play calling was a bit odd.

I didnt have a problem with the playcalling.

I did have issues with Locker, and some of his passes, but he played a very good defense and we won so Ill take it.

Locker will look better next week.

I think a lot of Locker today was honestly playing against Dick Lebeue (sp?). He has been known to confuse the hell out of young QB's.

Guys I like Locker a lot but when it comes down to it, good QB's make good accurate throws consistently and I'm just not seeing that from Jake. He'll string a few good throws together but then he'll fall apart. I'm not arguing that the ability isn't there, I just don't see it consistently.

I like the idea of building a guy's confidence up with easy throws and what not but when it comes down to it if that "warm up" process is the deciding factor of whether you play well or badly then that's a problem. Again, I'm not sitting here saying the sky is falling down, I'm just concerned and I think it's justified.

You imply that Houston's defense is somehow worse than what he faced today? Jake was rattled by the least bit of pressure today and made some horrible throws to open receivers.

We won't squeak a win out against the Texans like we did today. All this talk of not putting pressure on Jake is bogus. That is what he is paid for....that is the role of the QB.

I just don't think he will ever get any more accurate than he is right now and that is not good enough to move this team to the next level.

I agree. He had some nice throws to convert 3rd downs. Its hard when the running game was so ineffective. We did just fine today I'm not worried. I would like to see us attempt to stretch the field from time to time but thats mostly on the playcalling and not Locker.

I agree with everything except the next week part. The Texans are quite good on D :/

11/20 for 125 yards isn't a fine game for any qb playing after 1980. Locker's performance today was like some vintage 2007 Vince Young type horribleness

It ain't sexy, but it's Titans football! Did we win? Did we control the clock? Did we beat the Steelers at Heinz Field? If we managed a loss I'd consider agreeing with you. This was great play-calling against a stout, veteran D at home.
