On the bright side, we signed a starting guard, center, DT, TE to replace one we lost, a halfway decent MLB in case McCarthy became himself, Picked up two safeties, and by all appearances a good RB to help move the chains.

I dont think its that bad considering it was their first off season without a lockout, and an off season of chasing Buds boner (Manning)

    And about the Finnegan comments...

Hes the 3rd best paid CB in the NFL. (base salary. 4th highest cap hit) Who here thinks he is, was, or ever will be worth that??

    This is a psychological move.

Open your eyes guys. This isn't about ability- it's about giving Tommie a chip on his shoulder so when he does go in (and it'll be long before Bledi does), he plays his azz off.

Told yall...Tommie just ain't got it. I was rooting for him, but being big and athletic can only get you so far.

He's not worth that, but I don't think we would've needed to pay that much.

That was an example of Jeff Fisher and the Rams being morons and way overpaying for a player. They did the same thing with Cook - who is way more overpaid than Finnegan IMO.

We could've signed Finnegan to a 5 year/$40mil deal with better year to year structuring, and I think he would've taken it in a heartbeat. But we didn't even make him an offer.

We could have at least franchised him and offered him a long-term deal later or after the season... or just let him walk. But you certainly don't waste a tag on Griffin instead of Finnegan.

You drop that far by not playing well. Actually i'm glad for it. I was tired of waiting for this guy to develop when it will never happen. Sensibaugh is a 4th rd pick and Wilson a high 3rd i expect them to challenge for that starting spot next year.

Disagree. Even though we start the same 2 CBs Sensibaugh is a huge upgrade to mouton at nickel and we assume Pollard is an upgrade to Babs and smith. We also have much better depth if somebody goes down.

Campbell had his shot, you just don't get that long of a leash as a 7th round pick. Maybe try him out on kicks and punts and see how he does.

He is an excellent special teams player as well, its not like he does not have a future in the NFL.

Youd think cleaning toilets was the chip on his shoulder, guess not
