I would call you a liar if you said you listened to all 2:55. Watching it is not difficult.

shhhhut up, dont tell us these things, the Jets management is reading this thread.

The Bills released him not for his play, but because their idiot GM got caught bad mouthing Fitzpatrick on a phone call with the Panthers GM, and Fitz was due a lot of money. Thats why they cut ties with him, not because he couldn't play.

If his salary was cheaper to them he'd still be there.

We can't afford to trade Fitzpatrick, unless the deal was just too good to pass up (which it wouldn't be). Locker's had trouble staying healthy and he's been very up-and-down even when he has been. Rusty Smith sucks. Sure he's got a cool nickname. And he's responsible for the most entertaining shirtless Titan pics since VY. But he's a 3rd string QB at best. Time to forget about him ever being an asset to this team.
So if we get rid of Fitz (our most experienced QB and most accurate passer BTW) we're one Jake Locker injury away from the Rifle leading this team. Might as well just call it a day if it were to come to that.
Fitz is an important part of this team and I expect him to get at least a couple starts at some point over the course of this season. We won't trade him. Especially considering all of the heat on this staff. I highly doubt Munch wants to think about Rusty starting for this team anymore than the rest of us.

If he can't lead our offense down the field, he shouldn't be on the team. 3rd string or not.

I don't think you just throw your good players out on the trade line, but if a desperate team comes calling, and they're holding their wallets in their hands, everyone is available for the right price. If Fitz is normally worth a 4th, but you're not looking to trade him, he's now worth a 2nd. Look what Jets gave for Tebow.

I want to second the idea that thread titles like this should NOT be allowed. Ridiculous thread title and ****** job JCBrave. Wouldn't mind seeing your thread starting abilities banned for awhile for this.

Before you act pissy about it, can you imagine if the forum was full of bogus thread titles like this?

You do realize we play the Jets in just a few weeks. Fitz probably has the playbook memorized by now and would be able to give the jets good insight into what we will most likely try to do on offense ... at the very least we would need to wait until after that game to trade him to the Jets. But it would probably be too late at that point anyway.

btw ... the title of this thread sucks

I seriously doubt the Titans would even consider trading Fitz unless it was for a high draft pick, which it wouldn't be. We would put ourselves in a terrible position back up wise if Jake were to get hurt.

The title of this thread does suck and waiting til after the Jets play us would be a good idea. That would give them 4 weeks to realize how horrible their QB situation really is.
