I agree in principal with Amy but with fewer seasons. 3 seasons should be the threshold to judge a coach.

Notice that Pagano is ranked with 4 games? And several coaches with no games yet. That is retarded!

2 7-9 coaches ranked ahaead of Munchack. What did they do that was so great?

Kubiack is mediocre no question but he did hire Phillips to be his DC and that was a big move.

Just looked him up... he's OC of the Chargers. Maybe he'll be their next HC.

 

I think people put way too much emphasis on Head Coach. Personnel has way more to do with success than coaches. Why do you think coaches succeed in some places and completely flop at others or are good one year and suck the next? Did they become a worse coach overnight? Put Belichek on the Jaguars right now and I would be surprised if he had more than 6 wins. I feel offensive and defensive coordinators are way more important to a teams success than the head coach, but coordinators can't do much if the players just suck. I hate these types of lists. It's all about the situation.

 

Lol most coaches don't get 5 years. Everyone here seems to want Munch gone after 2, and now it's playoff or fired in his third year while coaching a 6-10 team.
