Well considering Nate and Kenny both always get hurt, and Mariani and Hunter both had leg injuires not that long ago, and Kendall is hurt right now, it seems like a good idea to keep a WR somewhere off to the side just in case.

Its a shame that the Martin experiment never worked out. We heard some good things about him, feel bad for the dude as he never really got his chance. Call it bad luck i guess...

As for Walter, I think its a great idea. Lets say we lose one of our WR's during the first 6 weeks (God forbid) but hey, injuries happen. He will be well versed in the playbook and these older guys don't need to practice as much with QBs as younger guns, so he can step in right away and contribute or count as viable depth.

Realistically, with the depth we have at both RB and WR now, I don't see Ray or Marc getting much play time. They will pretty much only handle return duties, so keeping a WR on the PUP makes sense...

Nah. Not at all. He did not do much in practice and had maybe on catch in games.

Wow... this dude was on pace to be a 2nd round pick at worst had he kept his head on straight. I'd still work him here, if we can. Dude has upside and great natural athletic ability. I wonder what was so bad about him that made Buffalo give him the boot this soon...

Now that I think about it, I think I just saw him make a good play that made the ESPN highlights ... I probably based my whole opinion on that one play, since I don't really care about the bills haha

I had asked Bill fan friends about him because I thought it was an amazing pick up at the time. Then was shocked to see him let go. They clued me in.

don't say that around Tom Brady. I think he was 199 in the draft. There are more (6th rounders) then you think out there.
