Very frustrating. Can't stand how some of our fans hold him personally responsible for injuries he incurs though. He has been very unlucky. Don't get me wrong, if a guy is constantly injured, he's not doing the team any good, but it's not like it's somehow his fault that he suffered serious injuries last year. When your ankle turns like McCarthy's did in week 1 last season, you're gonna be hurt. When you get a concussion as bad as his later last season, you're gonna be out for a good while. I have no idea whether he will shake the bad luck he's endured for the last year, but I don't believe he somehow allows himself to be injured. Sometimes our fans make fools out of themselves when they get frustrated.

What I mean is that Munchak is no longer waiting on mcCarthy, and hoping. Fokku is not the long term answer, but right now he is the guy. The job is Fokou's to lose.

Munchak made statements a few weeks ago about how important it can be to just help out at linebacker position. Come in for a few plays and stay fresh. I think he envisions McCarthy as that guy now.

We can all hope he can stay healthy. But the moment Munchak gives him the starting gig again, how long will it be before the inevitable happens again? He's absolutely never shown the ability to stay on the field consistently.

Next year we will undoubtedly be looking elsewhere for a new MLB guy.

If you think we are moving on from McCarthy you will be disappointed. The moment he is healthy he will start playing, and as son as he proves he can stay healthy he will be starting.

Though only the first is a given.

All I've ever heard about the guy is "once he's healthy..." blah blah blah.

Me and Munchak both have heard enough of that shizz. Munchak has decided he's not going to be disappointed anymore. At this point I would bet Munchak wants to see McCarthy come off the bench for at least 6 games without getting hurt before putting him back with the first team. Then, McCarthy would have one last shot to prove he can stay in the game.

And even in that best case scencario I still see the Titans drafting MLB high next year.
