But aren't half their good players out or no longer there this year?

Yea we need to dominate in that game and come away with a win early. I hope hope hope, we take a Patriots mentality and play every down like its the superbowl until the last second of the game. Even if its 60 - 0 us.

So far the preseason feels that way mostly because Locker has been pushed to start longer. I want it to carry through.

Winning this opener against Pittsburgh will really set a nice tone for the rest of the season. Especially if we put up a lot of points and beat them by a couple TDs or more. I like our chances.

Le'Veon Bell (foot) has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury, and the Steelers are unsure if he will require surgery.
He has no timetable for a return. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Steelers are "hoping" Bell can avoid surgery, but "won't be sure until he gets it double checked." NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Bell could be out "some time," and that the team is "pretty frustrated." Bell obviously needs to be removed from draft boards until we get a clearer idea of his timeline, but even a best-case scenario would likely have him missing 4-6 weeks. It's a tremendous disappointment for a player who was locked in as an RB2. As it is, the Steelers will likely now turn to a committee of replacement-level talents Isaac Redman, Jonathan Dwyer and La'Rod Stephens-Howling. It seems like no matter how much the Steelers try to upgrade their line and running game, they end up back where they started. Bad luck.

I love Bell, was praying we draft him, but this is good news for us. That injury sucks period, with or without surgery Bell wont be at 100%.

I watched the Jerry Gray interview, and it seems that he's not willing to show his hand at all this preseason. So we're going to continue losing games til they matter.

He literally took the words out of my mouth when he was questioned by the reporters, he said everything perfect, but why not practice what you preach? because he wants to give Pittsburgh nothing to go off week-1. The element of surprise is Jerry Grays thing I think.
