I need a TV for my bedroom mostly to be used for playing my PS3. I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff so I was hoping someone could offer advice.

I'm just looking for something in the 22-32'' range, at a reasonable price (<200). What I don't know is whether it's worth it to go 1080p vs 720p, 26'' vs 24'' vs 32'', LED vs LCD vs Plasma, which brand is the best, etc.

I've found a 32'' Vizio LED 720p for $195, I'm wondering if that's a good deal? Are there any TV guru's out there that can give me some tips and point me in the right direction?

EDIT: BTW my viewing distance if it matters is 3-5 feet

Motion-wise a higher hz is better. At least 120 - which excludes most LCD TVs. Plasma has best motion for gaming and sports. It heavy and warmer, fyi.

LED only if you get 120hz, at least. Thinner, lighter, cooler and efficient.

That said... don't think Plasmas come that small.

1080 matters to me... that's me.

I love LED. Good for a bedroom because it will give off less heat. Plasma gives off a ton of heat. Plus probably cannot get a plasma that small anyway. Vizio is a solid brand. Not at the level of Sharp or Samsung but for the money they are good.

Samsung is my preferred brand of TV, but at the time their 47" costs waaay more than what I paid for my Vizio

As a primary, NO. But this is a secondary... probably fine with that TV you mentioned.

Also with LED vs LCD. LCD has only one bulb. When it goes it is expensive to replace. LED has many bulbs. You will not notice unless a few of them go.

I dont even plan on fixing my TV once it starts to go, Im upgrading next year to something 60"+

Might have to go 72" so I can go up to my Tv and put my arms out and not even be able to reach the sides
