Said on Sirius today that vince came into the league at the wrong time. With the read option now being popular he has a much better chance. Not trying to start a riot but fisher again took the square peg in the round hole and vince was an immature idiot!

Vince is better than a few NFL QBs... ours included.

So while he's not great- he warrants at least a back-up position. Without Fisher, who knows... could have actually been worth something.

Young definitely deserves to be in the league at least. Hope he makes the Packers.

I hold no ill will towards him. He was simply too immature and dumb in general. Can't read a defense all that well, and doesn't deal with pressure/negativity well.

But I'm past being angry at him. Whatever

I have mixed feelings about this.Vince had the physical talent but he would not spend the neccessary time trying to learn the game.Things might've turned out much different if he would've spent a lot of time watching film or studying the playbook.Vince tried to get by on physical talent alone but he was not a student of the game and after awhile defenses figured him out.He was very fragile mentally and between fighting with coaches and throwing temper tantrums his act started wearing thin and he ended up getting released. There were periods of time where he looked really good and it looked like he might actually be heading the right direction especially in 2009 where the team strung together seven or eight straight victories. The last drive against Arizona was probably the finest moment in his career.I do think if he would've been stronger mentally and put more time in watching film he might've been pretty good but those things were his downfall. He won't get much playing time behind Rodgers but it would've been interesting to see what he could've done in a place like San Francisco backing Kaepernick.

So you can honestly say you feel Jake Locker is better right now than Vince was?

... if so, you're quite the fan. Homers stand up!

You want to know why Locker is a better QB than Young? Because this year we know what we will have. Its what, year 7 for Young and people are still wantimg to see what he has got? Move on, Young is a franchise killer, nothing more.

If i have said it once i will say it again. Vy was a flash in the pan. The only thing he did well was to run his @ss off when plays broke down or when he was just too dumb to figure it out. Once teams accounted for him as a running back, he ceased to be effective.

Yes, Locker is a better QB. He is not perfect, but better than vy.
