I think you might be retarded.

Since I'm not saying he is a #1 WR but this is obviously too complicated.

There are 32 teams. If 1000+ yards is in the top 20 of all WRs, how are those not stats of a #1 WR? Stating that a player's best year is in line with #1 WR stats IS NOT THE SAME as saying that player is a legit #1 WR.

    Holy **** yall dumb.

And the only reason I'm "hung up" on his one season is because someone is saying "oh well it's only decent".

And I can't even get f'n Titans fans to say, "actually it's a lot more than decent, it's a great season. it's a #1 WR worthy season!" That was the damned point.

Lets say CJ gets season injured and Shonn Greene is the go-to starting running back for the season.

I guess if Greene runs for 2000 yards we can't say that is #1 RB stats or that he had a great season. He would just be a career change of pace back that had a decent not great year. Right?

Peerless Price says what up playa.

Dude looked solid when Eric Moulds was playing opposite him in Buffalo, but come free agency the Falcons got robbed because they looked at his stats like youre doing. Just watch the film, his play was not No.1 WR play. A good No.2 with help.

Having 1000-yards on your stat sheet does not make you a No.1 WR, it just doesn't, despite that being an impressive accomplishment.

Holy **** dude. I am NOT saying having a 1000 yard season makes a WR a #1 WR. Just like I'm not saying Nate is a 1000 yard WR.

Just because someone has 1000 yards in a season doesn't make them a #1 WR. BUT that is a #1 WR type of season. Again, just because someone does it once doesn't make them a #1 WR, but the season alone is #1 worthy ON ANY TEAM.

For one season Nate had a #1 WR type of season. For the past 4 seasons, he has had one #1 WR year, two #2 WR years, and one #3 WR year. That makes him a quality #2 WR. I don't see how anyone can disagree with that unless you want to argue his ability is going to nosedive this year and never return to the past 4 years of production.

Agreed. He CAN play at a high level but not consistent enough to be a true #1.

We've also had a string of joke Qbs as well.

I think it's a joke that you're trying to insult. The only one throwing out #1 WR stat comparisons is you over Nate ****ing Washington. OMG OMG OMG NATE WASHINGTON HAD A 1K SEASON LIKE A REAL TOP WR. Yay congrats you can do math there are 32 teams which means 64 starting WR's. We get it, if he finishes a season in the top 32 in the NFL he's producing like a #1 WR, well that's not the case. It's more than just box score stats. Nate Washington put up numbers in a decent season on a team with no other receiving threats since Britt went down.

Larry Fitzgerald was 41st in receiving yards last year...

btw not finishing top 15 in any category that year isn't a "great" season

I understand what you're saying but I don't see the point in it.

He's a pretty good #2 WR with ups and downs in his career, why we're continuing to highlight one season is beyond me.

btw "#1 on any team" that would assume he lead the league in something. finishing I think 18th isn't even half the league...
