Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has landed with the Colts, defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis signed with the Bears and fullback Vonta Leach got his release from the Ravens.

Bradshaw and Ellis were two of the remaining unsigned members of PFT’s Free Agent Hot 100, a list that now has just five unrestricted free agents left, including defensive end John Abraham and defensive tackle Richard Seymour. The others are defensive end Israel Idonije, linebacker Nick Barnett and offensive guard Brandon Moore.
Were Leach to have been unsigned in March, he likely would have drawn top-100 consideration, too. He’s one of the game’s top blocking backs. And indeed, it may not take Leach long to find another home. The Dolphins will reportedly host him on Wednesday.

We’ve reached the latter stages of offseason workouts. By next Friday, every team will be done with mandatory minicamps. It’s not a surprise that we’ve seen a little free agency activity as teams prepare for summer break.

We should definitely go after one of the dends. I don't care which one. Idonije or abraham would instantly be the main backup.

I also wouldn't mind going after barnett for some good depth at lb. Maybe the previous signings of levitre and wilson can help lure him in for cheap.

I think these two positions are the most unstable on the team when it comes to depth, so if we could pull something like this off it would be pretty awesome.

Vonta leach would be pretty sweet too....allowing stevens and walker to concentrate fully on the TE position and bringing in a top fullback to further bolst our offense.

Again. ..maybe bernard pollards signing could help lure him in.. who knows though?

Normally I'd say youre wasting your breath hoping we sign any player in June, but last year our front office did stay busy adding The Great Kyle DeVan.

Normally June is when we're busy signing our draft picks.

If we could add Leach and a defensive end that would be awesome.

I've always wondered why we never brought Leach in because he would be perfect to put in the backfield with CJ.I could see Leach laying some good blocks and with our already great line that would be all C.J. would need to scorch opposing defenses.

When Leach was interviewed he expressed a desire to go back to Houston but i hope that does not happen.

I honestly feel like we could just as easily stay as is and have Thompson or any of our TE's fill-in at FB and we'd get the same production. Leach wants the $$ and is 31. 31 in FB years is like 47. He played over 500 snaps, thats a lot of pounding he's had to endure. Our 2 FB's together have hardily half that amount of work. I dont think it's the right move for us to add leach.
