I am really hoping to see more out of him this year being the fact he was a #1 draft pick. Don't get me wrong, I think he was solid and could be better if Locker can get him the ball, but I think this is a big season for him now that he has a year of experience and better weapons etc. Will he be average, have an awesome year, or flop? What do you all think out there?

I like Kendall and think he will be good, it just seems that he isn't exactly what we
thought he would be which is super explosive. Hes still a smart, tough football player
with a great attitude who will only get better. Therefore I predict about 60 to 70 catches
and maybe 700 to 800 yards.

I'd say somewhere between average and awesome. I think we're going to see him take a solid step forward and make more big plays. But "awesome" may be getting a little ahead of ourselves. I'm a fan but I honestly don't think he'll ever be one of those Top 10 or so elite receivers. But I can see him being very good and very reliable for a very long time. And if he does that, I'd say he was well worth the pick even though he may never be "elite".

    2013 Prediction: 78 catches, 936 yards, 7 TD

I think he can top out somewhere between Wes Welker and a Percy Harvin.

I don't think he is the back field talent that Harvin is, nor the super crisp Welker. However, his game speed and reliable hands makes for a dynamic receiver in the open field. Also in college, he was a deep threat, rg3 or not, dude blew up big 12 defenses. Of course there is a difference in the pros and even Harvin sees a different production at this level.

78 catches would be a good year for him. And close to a K? Harvin only saw near 700 yards and fewer catches. Welker was 100+ for 1300 or so. Welker was also the primary target, slot or not.

If wright produced those numbers, I'd say he easily get regarded as a top slot guy in the likes or Harvin and Welker.

Another thing depends on how we run this offense this year. Might not be near that many balls to go around. Someone is gonna look lackluster, surely.

It's been over a year since we picked him last year and I still don't get the Kendall hate. I know going WR in the 1st round was a surprise to some and because they didn't think it was a need. Then some of them decided to just start hating on him. Someone wrote in another thread that he had a lot of drops and wasn't reliable. What a load of crap.

Kendall was tied for the rookie lead in receptions and led our team in receptions. What else could he do? I don't recall any horrible drops, failed attempts to hustle, or being out of position at all. To lead an NFL team your rookie year in receptions and be tied for the rookie lead in receptions is an accomplishment if you ask me. I think some of you need to get over it because based off of his production last year, it was a great pick. He's only going to get better.

He was a first round pick, not #1 pick.

And I do hope he does work this year.

I expect our passing attempts to be closer to the McNair era. 400/450 ish. Put passing attempts between 25/30 per game. The average amount of offensive plays per game is around 65ish. Last year locker had 360 attempts in his partial time and hass had another 220 or so. Nearly 600 pass attempts as a team. I think that changes drastically this year.

We are built as a spread offense team with all these WRs... Yet we are told we are going to run the ball... Lol these numbers leave CJ his 20/30 touches considering I think Greene will steal a handful (5/10) of carries every game. Maybe more?

25/30 attempts between britt, wright, hunter, Walter, Wash, Walker, CJ, Stevens? Fb?

Someone will become the safety valve and get 6-7+ touches/looks. The rest will be vying for 2/3 catches (at best)

It's common to use the term "number one pick" to refer to a team's first round pick. You hear it from certain guys in the draft media fairly often.

You're probably confusing the NFL with the CFL.

Hhahaha. If we want to get REAL technical, I didn't say #1 OVERALL pick. I said "#1 pick" which he was for the titans.
