The Titans have waived tackle Matt Sewell, one of two undrafted free agents from Canada on the team’s roster.

The move came with a transaction wire notation that Sewell had left the team.

Sewell, a 6-8, 342-pounder who played collegiately at McMaster, was selected by Toronto with the eighth overall pick of the Canadian Football League draft last week, so it’s possible he may be focusing on the CFL.

Still on the Titans roster is 6-5, 302-pound defensive tackle Stefan Charles, an undrafted free agent out of the University of Regina. Charles was the 10th overall selection in the CFL draft.

The Titans also cut undrafted free agent Tom Wort, a former Oklahoma linebacker who had failed his physical because of a hamstring injury.

He probably just realized his chances of making the team were not good and didn't want to miss out on a year in the Canadian league. The league starts with pre-seaon June 12th.
