    That is just CJ's lifestyle.

Here he is eating chicken in a club next to some guy rapping. Stereotypes flow like water from this guy.

Really? No one cares? Child please, that still get's brought up all the time when people go on their CJ rants. Besides his perceived lack of production, (he's easily been one of the most productive backs over his career) or his size, how "over-paid" he is, is one of the first things that gets brought up. The only thing that would justify the kind of hate CJ gets is if he was just not trying out there. His results haven't been that great lately but the man is clearly trying out there.

Look at his stats running behind one of the worst lines in the league on a team that doesn't scare anyone with their passing game. How is that not impressive? How could he produce even this without effort? How many backs in this league do you think would produce more than him in the exact same situation, maybe 3?

Also why is anyone shocked that he didn't get consistent yardage when his line wasn't consistently opening holes? Why is is surprising that he only got a few big gains per game? Could it be because those were the only plays where he actually got a decent hole and the line held their blocks? No, let's hate on him some more, that'll make him wanna play harder and give us a hometown discount when his contract is up.

I disagree he hasn't been one of our best players and that Charles has been more consistent but other than that fair enough.

When his contract runs out he's going to be 30 and I'll gladly let him walk. No sense in getting Shaun Alexandered twice by the same guy...

Fair point. I would feel weird letting him go without a budding star waiting in the wings though.

Elite ones don't. I like me an elite back. Running back is my second favorite position to watch, corner is #1.

I love running backs as much as you do, but I don't value them that way.

    CJ isnt elite either BTW

We'll have to agree to disagree on CJ. I do agree that RB value is down. I miss the days of the feature back. Football seems to be cyclical though and I expect feature backs to come back in vogue a few years from now.
