I would vote yes everytime. I dont know how much of a distraction it is. Im a huge NFL fan and follow it year round. I heard very little about hard knocks over the past few years. What distractions were there for the dolphins? Ochocinco? That same publicity what have happen regardless. Bring it on!

I think you have a couple years mixed up. The Ravens were on the season after they won the Super Bowl. The Cowboys were on it in 2008 when they went from 13-3 to 9-7.

I still don't think it's a distraction. These guys do interviews throughout training camp anyway.

The prize is the Lombardi trophy, not ratings. Lets win a SB first.

I don't see why we cant have both

honestly we'll never get Hard Knocks as long as Munchak is the coach. The guy is very timid and has no personality.

    I don't want this crap.

There is too much on the line. We have a young QB going into his make or break season, the last thing he needs is a camera following him around every where asking 20 questions.

We also have a troubled wide receiver who is also in a make or break year. The last thing he needs is a camera in his face encouraging him to go into full diva/bad boy mode.

Not to mention a coaching staff, who is basically in the same situation as the above mentioned QB and WR. We do not need the distraction. You can try to ignore the cameras all day long, but at the end of the day they are still there. People/players will not act the way they normally would, its an unneeded distraction.

I hate to say it but we are a really boring team nationally. The only things people know about the Titans that don't live in Nashville are that Chris Johnson is our best player, we drafted Chance Warmack, and Jake Locker is our QB. I honestly doubt most NFL fans could even name our head coach. I can see why HBO would never offer this to us because of that, but it's for that very reason I want us to be on the show. We really need to increase the size of our fan base.

Quick personal story on this; 2 years ago I was in Oak Ridge TN (East TN, right outside Knoxville) and I wanted to buy a Titans shirt for my brother for his b-day so I went to Wal-Mart in Oak Ridge. Not only did their Wal-Mart not have ANYTHING Titans related, their whole NFL sporting goods sections was ALL Colts stuff! I know there are some fans in East TN that pulled for the Colts because of Peyton, but they had Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark jerseys in there! I've never been so mad in my life that a Wal-Mart with an in state professional football team has absolutely NO memorabilia for that team, but carried memorabilia for a team 8 hours north. THAT is why we need to be on hard knocks, or find some other way to increase our fan base because people in our own state still don't support the team.

Well to be fair, the fans dont buy the merchandise for Walmart, that's up to one of the regional managers of Walmart to purchase what they think will sell. I'm not up to date on NFL merchandise sales but if I had to guess, Id guess the Colts sell more Jerseys, hats, and other stuff than the Titans. I cant blame fans in east Tennessee for Walmart not having Titans gear.

I got so excited when I saw this thread, thought we had been chosen.

Never actually watched Hard Knocks as its always been other teams, but I know what its about. I love to watch anything Titans related; I think its actually a sickness to which the extent it goes...

I see you guys have talking about the following year's records of teams post Hard Knocks. Seems very valid, definitely don't want a distraction while this team is undergoing such a serious change and in a pivotal year.

In the end I voted for the team and went with 'No' - even though that's the complete opposite of what I actually want. I treat this team better then my future wifey, always puttin' it first...

I've always said we should cut Tennessee off at Cookeville and let East Tennessee go be their own poverty stricken Appalachian state.

They are completely useless when it comes to supporting anything else from any other part of the state.

White trash dick ride a university 98% of them never took a credit hour at. Whew Go Vols! Firmly believe Manning could eat babies and those trailer rats would still scream VFL!!!!

Sorry, in a bad mood after Memphis game. Seriously though East TN has the worst sports fans outside of Atlanta.
