Well lets say we get a huge year out of him next year then instead of letting us franchise him the next year him and his agent start creating a lot of turmoil and distractions and try to get us to release him so he can get big money elsewhere sort of like what Cook and his agent did so they would release him. Some players are known to do that to avoid the franchise tag.

I know Cook had the receiver/tight end tag that conplicated things and that was the reason we released him but i'm just wondering if Britt and his agent would try and pull something behind the scenes about Britt being unhappy or Britt refusing to play for the franchise tag.

Considering he has NEVER played an entire season. I think this plan of him having to play two years after this year and tagging him next is perfect. Just making it one year would be amazing. Its clear the 24 year old is growing up some. Being 20 years old when you are drafted is the main reason has been a mess. No one can imagine being giving millions of dollars BEFORE you can even order a beer (yet another reason this country is all messed up).

Hahahah a stand up comedian said it best...

Hopefully he dominates this year and we just tag him. Atleast get two years of talent out of him, after both of those years -- if healthy and out of trouble, it would be hard for me to let him go.

I'm starting to feel optimistic about Britt for the first time in a while. He's going into his contract year, so he knows he has to produce. If his knee gets back to 95%, hopefully we'll see the unstoppable force that was the Kenny Britt Show in 2010 and early 2011.

That Eagles game.. lol. I'll never forget KFC just chucking the ball as far as his feeble arm would let him, and Britt going up and getting it. He was such a beast in 2010/2011. Having a healthy Britt would be HUGE for the entire team.

His knee should be a 100 percent by now and definitely by the start of the season.

Best bit of reasoning I've heard on here in a long time.

We paid CJ after three years of 1,000+ yards, including one 2,000 yard season in which he had 2,600 all purpose yards, and 1,400 rushing yards the next season. He had no major injuries, and no trouble with the law.

On the other hand we have a Diva WR who only had one big year, has suffered multiple injuries in his 4 season career, including a torn Hammy and a torn ACL. The dude has missed well over 20 games. He also has had at least seven police incidents, and has faced suspension from the league.

So no, I do not believe we would shell out big bucks to Kenny Britt if he has a beast year in 2013.. Hopefully we tag him to get one more year out of him.
