By "never heard of again" I mean he'll go there and be a nobody on the field.

...which I can very well see happening.

The guy was practically a nobody until Rex Ryan showed up. He was a system star.

Lol while I'm not actually arguing with you, I just wanna here your rebuttal at the fact that an "island" CB is a system star. How does that even get filed under a system? He played the hardest position on the field with little to no help against the best WR every week... System?

The defense was a system based on HIM being able to do this super human feat. Lol not the other way around.

Would anyone be against at not taking a G til round 3? Fredrick from Wisconsin?

I'm cool with that. Milliner, star, or ziggy one. Hunter or rhodes two, this guy in the third. Sounds good.

We already covered this. He was a Pro Bowler and generally thought of as great under Mangini.

If by "nobody", you mean that he'll be one of the best cornerbacks in the league but not be talked about every 30 minutes on ESPN, then you are probably right.

Yea I think we would honestly have a higher level of talent of the first three rounds if we could do that.

Star/ansah/caradinne (trade back to late teens?)
    Slay
    Frederick
    M.Wilson
    D. Johnson

That has to be my dream draft right now.

So in 2009... Clearly Revis' best season and when his name became household, that wasn't because the Jets had the #1 defense in the NFL??

    ....riiiiight...

As Titans fans, we know all too well what pressure and a great line/lbs can do for a secondary. The Jets were a perfect example.

Even oldazz, can't play for the Titans, Randy Moss made Revis look like toast.

LOL, Revis strained his hamstring and got beat once in 5 years, so he is overrated.

Him allowing the rest of the secondary to slide over and give the weaker areas extra help isn't a big part of that defense? Or at least has been. Of course he didnt always win. He got burnt from time to time. Stevie Johnson has his number. But he played a key part of those defenses.

I completely agree that the game is a rotating house of cards where each main part helps other parts. A dominate D line will always make a secondary look better. That doesn't mean Revis didn't earn his keep as being a shut down CB for the most part tho.
