I've settled on Cordarrelle Patterson at 10 if he's there

Unless we trade down, I want to get the most value for this pick as possible, and drafting a guard this high just doesn't make sense. The red flags with Ansah are too much to risk with being so new to football, questions about his age, will he produce in the NFL? No thanks.

I was going through and watching some of the prospects youtube clips and Patterson reminds me a lot of Randy Moss. It's scary how much they are alike. Whoever is bringing up his wonderlic or route running, forget about it. When you're that fast, and that physical, you don't need to run routes. Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, etc.. weren't the best route runners either. Patterson is exactly what we need, a redzone threat who can also stretch the field. We have the excellent route runner in Kendall Wright, we need to fill Britt's shoes cause he ain't coming back, sorry.

I'm telling you, this is the next great receiver. I'm not really interested in whether he can read the playbook all that well or if he is victor cruz running routes out there. He's a baller and would make this team immensely better.

Lol.... He better learn to snag the ball soon. That body catching nonsense is sooooo peewee status.

I really appreciate you stating you like Patterson LOL, makes it way too easy for everyone else not to like him.

And you never "settle" when picking 10th, thats just retarded, but then again, well never mind.

I can't even knock this idea. I'm totally on-board with us taking Patterson too. If Milliner is gone then I think that CP has the highest value. And as much as I like Cooper history tells me that you just don't take a G that early, especially when we can pick one up in the 2nd or 3rd.

We need playmakers and I really believe that's exactly what Patterson will be. Regardless of how much our D improves we still need to be able to score points on offense so adding a guy like CP helps us do that.

So you're scared to take Ansah because of all the question marks around him but you like a WR who has played 1 year at a high level, can't run routes, and has pretty bad flaws/technique? He also plays a position that's not a top need.

    seems legit

You guys are totally missing the point here. Not being able to score points or getting first downs is a huge problem for our offense. CP is a playmaker regardless of the knocks on him, he has special physical abilities that our offense can surely use.

But every time UT needed a 1st, they went to Justin Hunter. So explain that one?

I was fine with taking Ansah before I learned that he might be 40 years old

    Riiiiiiiiiiight. 40 years old. Logical.

    He's no older than 25. And I assume he's 23 or 24.
