Afalava is going into his fourth year now. Drafted by the Bears in 09' and went to the Colts for a couple of years before coming here last year.

Its true he's been around for some years, but I kinda like his style. I'd honestly prefer we keep him over all the other back-up safties we have.

Rojo is not good, and Martin is yet to play a single snap. Alfalava is better IMO.

I'll hold my judgement until I see Martin play but I believe Afalava is more of a SS type as opposed to Martin being more of a FS ball hawk. I still think we got a steal with Martin and can't wait to see how he performs in the preseason. Nothing would be better than for him to show up and replace Whiffin.

I've been thinking that we target Rhodes at 10 because of our lack of receivers and safety. The guy can play both so it's really two birds with one stone if we take him. I've been going back and forth between Cooper and Rhodes, because I'd really love for us to take guys that can excel at multiple positions.

Also he has the size and speed to cover the new breed of TE's.

Let's hope Gray can start doing his talking on field this year! Last year in the off season his mouth talked up a good game but obviously the actually product on the field was abysmal. PLEASE let this year be different...lol!

LOL dude you are really clueless about a lot of stuff.

The only reason we were any good on D for those two years is b/c we had albert haynesworth playing a new unblievable level that the rest of the defense look like kings!

Haynesworth helped, absolutely, but he didn't single-handedly make the entire defense the 2nd best in the NFL lol. We had two good pass rushers beside him in KVB and Kearse, a solid LB corp with Bulluck, Thorton, and Tulloch, and a secondary that had Finny, Nick Harper, and good safety play from Girffin and Hope.

As for Schwartz, after a few years he and the players became more comfortable with the scheme, and Schwartz became more relaxed and aggressive in his play calling. That's what I'm hoping will happen with Gray and Williams.

Bro in 07 he missed three games and we went 0-3 in those games against not so good opponents giving up a crap ton of points. The other 13 games we were 10-3. Your really havin a bad day today arguing with me lol
