I have not seen Bama play enough to evaluate Millner, but is he good enough to start week 1? I am heavy on Chance in the first and Hunt in the second. However, I can live with our FA signings at guard and get Milliner and Larry Warford, if he can be shut down. If not I want Chance, Hunt, and Johnthan Banks (if he is there in the 3rd). I am knee deep in Maker's Mark and that super green, so I am open to ideas and theories.

He damn well better be good enough to start day 1 if he's considered the best CB and going top 10.

But I don't think he'll be anything more than an average CB in the league. Not worth a top 10 pick, but if he does fall to us we're gonna take him which sucks... Unless we get an offer from someone like Minnesota. They are so desperate at CB, I know they'd at least make an offer. But it's picks #23 and #25 from them or nothing at all.

I think he could start day 1, but I think we'd give Verner a chance to keep his job and earn a longterm contract.

I think Milliner will be good, but he is probably going to get hit with a lot of PI's until he learns to play with his hands less. I'd rather take someone else and take Jamar Taylor in the 2nd, but I'd be excited about Milliner.

It seems like the new breed of cb is the big CB. I want dbs that can jam at the line like CBs from Seatle CBs. Banks is a big CB. I just want to be a factor this year. When we make the playoffs, I know who we're down since day one.

I seriously never understood on the hype on Banks.

Banks won the Jim Thorpe Award for a reason.

I realize there weren't many dominant corners in college this year, but if you look at the past winners of the award, overall, they're pretty good.

At the least, you're almost guaranteed to get a solid player. If he's there in the 2nd round, take him.

Milliner is by no means a shut down corner and in no way a "ball hawk." He's good in coverage but I honestly think in the AFC South he'd have his hands full with Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne.

Banks on the other hand I think is the best CB in the draft. He's one of those players that was always around the ball, an amazing tackler, and had a knack for stripping the ball and making big plays whether on defense or the return game (you UT fans might remember the play this year in Starkville where he stripped the ball from the WR and recovered it himself, he did stuff like that all the time). His speed is in question but from what I've gathered he improved his 40 time at his pro day and if you watch his tape he definitely plays faster than his time. If he's there in the 2nd it's a no brainer.

Jamar Fletcher, Roy Williams, Derrick Strait, and Michael Huff aren't really guys to be bragging about..

However, my favorite CB Daryll Lewis of all time made the list :)

Lol... But you were only able to list a few NFL scrubs from a much longer list. Most of the players turned out to be pretty good. That's the point.

Since 1990, Chris Hudson, Greg Myers, Lawrence Wright, Tyrone Carter, Jamar Fletcher, Roy Williams, Derrick Strait, and Michael Huff are nothing to brag about.

However, since 2006 nobody can argue the award winners.
