I watched a lot of Georgia games this year because all my friends in Denver went there. Jarvis Jones is the best football player I've seen in years. I never thought we would ever have a shot at this guy. Who gives a rats ass what formation he is suited for. Take him please! You guys know. He's from another planet! I love Ansah but Jones DOMINATED The SEC. Please Ruston do it! They already said we are going to play some 3-4. Who here agrees?

Ehh, I'm probably one of the biggest UGA fans on here and even I am not sold on Jones. He's not even the best Bulldog, I'd take Ogletree over him any day.

I'm with you on this. Until his pro day and slow 40 time I had him as my #1 player I wanted. Now I've got Star, Jordan, Mingo & Ansah ahead of him now. But, if all of them are gone I'd be fine with taking JJ.

People were saying the same things about Akeem Ayers when he came out, that he was a strictly 3-4 rush LB but we took him anyway because he fell to us. It's worked out great. They also said the same thing about Von Miller as well and he's adjusted to the 4-3 just fine. I don't think the transition for an LB between the two schemes is that hard. Plus, as you said we will be showing more 3-4 looks anyway.

You're kidding right? Don't you draft a player in the first round, especially in the top 10, to be an immediate starter and make and impact? This guy really has no place in a 4-3, he's too slow to play outside and he'll never be a middle linebacker. Ayers is a full tenth faster and more than ten pounds heavier, it may not seem like much but it is a big difference.

There is no way he'd play over Ayers or Brown, and we know he can't play inside so he won't play over McCarthy. Personally I don't want a player at 10 to ride the pine.

Yeah, Jones just doesn't fit here.

Got to agree with Fry, in that he doesn't fit here.

I really like Jones to the fullest, but we already have Ayers and Brown on the outside, and therefore there isn't room for Jones, unless you want him to replace Kam or Morgan.

Jones is an outside rusher that will be a huge liability in the run. Outside rusher is something we don't lack as of right now.

So Jones won't be called at #10 this year. Sorry.

I watched a lot of UGA games this year, and he is a lot faster on the outside than his 40 time.

This guy will be a beast as an outside rusher, but he is someone we don't need as of right now, and therefore I won't endorse him.

Yeah, you're right. It would be a waste to have unstoppable pass rusher. No, I know what you mean but I still think ayers can't tackle and Jones would beat him out in a second.

So how exactly does he fit here? We don't run a 3-4 and we already have two guys who do what he does in pass rushing situations. He's not going to play in coverage and he gets bowled over in the run game.

Jones is a situational player in Tennessee.
